Philosophy:

When working with families, I employ structural family therapy to assist them in becoming aware of their roles and meaning to each other. It is common for family members to misunderstand the value they have to each other, often assuming their value is derived from something completely different than other family members may think. My primary objective is to help family members recognize the value they have to one another in forms of intimacy. My secondary objective is to assist the family in learning strategies to communicate compassionately by validating each other’s subjective experiences.
